Pictures of Booga!

Updates.....

Hello My Sweet Little girl,

I am truly saddened that I cannot call you a baby any longer. You are such a little girl that it is blatant you aren't babyish any more. But that is ok. Sometimes, even though you are not two even, I get a little fearful that you will grow up too quickly. I thought about this at Easter, you are almost two now, but next year you will be almost THREE!!! Then it just snowballs from there! Soon you will be four, but then I remember that is still two more years away and I take a deep breath and enjoy you as you are! :D
I wanted to update you one some more of the things you are saying and doing now. You are so sweet sometimes, lol, but other times you are such a pill. And with Mommy's and Daddy's tempers you have one of your own!! You will swat at whomever has annoyed you or my favorite...you will put your head down and then put your little hands on your face as if you are crying. It is really cute and a bit dramatic (which you get from your father! Lol) He is a drama king and now so are you, er, only a drama Princess! :D
Some of your words that you have started saying is "too" when you are told "I Love You!" You will call a butterfly a "tuh-ty". You will tell me yes or no, depending on your mood. You say "food" and "eat" when you are hungry, also "bite" when you want a bite. You tell us when you want a drink and you say "dink" or "joos" or "milk." You love "canny," of course what little kid doesn't! :) You love "noo-noes" which are ramen Noodles! I love to ask you if you want noodles, just to hear you say it!

You will say your colors when you are pre-empted. If you are not then everything is "purpel" Mommy was letting you carry some of Uncle Nick's playing cards around with you and then I got an inspirational idea. I would take the pile from you and flip them out to make a noise and when you looked at it I would tell you the number or the letter of the face card so you can learn them. We also count and say our ABC's until you get tired of it. So, we bought you some wooden blocks, which you also love, and you would hand them to Daddy and as you did you would count them from 1-10, but after that you would get lost! I guess we should have counted higher! But you will say your ABC's one at a time right after us, well for the most part. You have your own little ideas and sometimes you will just look at us or shake your head and say "no" in that cute little voice of yours.

You still love cats, I think more than any dog. You love your doggies, Mutley and Scruffy, but you love the kitties! I pulled up cats on Google one day and let you look at the pictures of kitties and you squealed and squealed about those darn cats! You found one that looked like Casper and you went wild!

You often squeal when you are excited! That is all that I can pull from my little brain right now. You do so many cute and wonderful things that sometimes it is hard to remember them all! But as they come to me or I see you do them again I will blog about them for you to see!

I love you Mommy's sweet little princess!!!

Kisses and Hugs,
love,
Honey!

Daddy!!!

Today your dad came home! He has been in Utah trying to get our Home Remodeling company off the ground, but has not had the success he wishes for! So he brought your Uncle Scott and a friend of theirs home to Colorado.

You were so excited when you had seen the van on the monitor to the front door, and you ran to the door and onto the porch....where you proceeded to look out the open gate and then falter. You looked at the three approaching and then you looked at me with fear and surprise and said "Honey?" So I picked you up.
I think that you were excited to see daddy, but with the others with him you were not so sure. Needless to say you have been a daddy's girl ALL DAY!!! You have not wanted to let daddy out of your site!

You sure love your daddy and he loves you very much!

I just wanted you to know about this.

I love you,
Love Honey!

April 2010

Well, Here it is about two months since the last time I blogged to you. But you are so funny!! Today you were all about your little tongue. You would hold it out of your mouth and between your lips while you were playing. Then when I would stick my tongue out at you then you would copy me. It was so cute!

These days your Uncle Nick drives you crazy! He wants to tease you and likes to try to scare you, but all you say is "Noooo" and wave your hand at him as to dismiss his antics. He even tried to talk to you and you tell him "nooo."

You love your Papa so much. You like to sit on his lap and just hang out with him. You will try to "play" that you are Papa and sit in his seat by his laptop and then put his oxygen hose around your neck. It really is sweet that you adore him so much.

You love to lay with Ma in her bed at night when they are getting ready for bed and watching tv. You like to lean back against the pillows and cover your little legs while watching what you call "v." When you wake up each morning, we change your diapey, then Mommy puts in a movie for you. At which point you will take over my spot on the bed and lean against my pillows and cover up so Mommy can't lie down any longer. :)

When we came back to Grandpa and Grandma's house to stay your favorite movie was Barnyard. I blogged about it earlier. But then your tastes changed to Garfield the Movie. You watched that movie forever! It was cute that you would sit so long for the entire show. We recently went to Utah and took Grandma's portable DVD player and that was the movie that kept you entertained. Now your favorite movie has changed again. In the last week and a half I put the movie Shrek 2 in for you to watch and you fell in love with it. This is usually the movie of choice in the mornings! I am not sure if you like the movie because of the music, but at this point in time I am more inclined to think that it is the cat in the movie that you like the most! If you see what I am getting at because there seems to be a theme in the last two movies that you have liked! :D

Sweetheart, Mommy just really wants you to know what your childhood is like because as the years go by we tend to forget the small things that we have done or our children have done. I want to be sure that you have all of the cute things and I am sure there will be some bad as we go so that you can reflect upon this just in case anything happens to Mommy or Daddy. Even if you are in your thirties!

Your Grandmother on my side died when I was 27. I was old enough to not need my mom for the most important part of my life, but there are still those times when it would be handy to be able to pick up the phone and just ask a stupid question about cooking, raising you, or being married. I would love to hear that you are doing the things that I used to do, but it is not possible. Every now and then your Aunt Melissa will mention that you do some of the things that I used to do.

I was complaining one day that you NEVER leave your hair intact when I make it look cute! And your Aunt Melissa told me that you were NOT like me in that department. My mother always made my hair cute and I left it in! lol, but that was a few months ago or a year, not sure. :D But you do leave your hair in for the most part. If I put a barrett in your hair you will pull it out, but a ponytail or piggy tails you leave those in until Mommy takes them out for bed.

I need to post more each day, but I don't want everyone to think that I gush over you, but they may be right! I love you LynLee with all my heart!

Smile my love,
Love Mommy

February 21, 2010

Ok, so I thought that I was a horrible mother as I was sure that I had not posted since November of last year. But I was wrong. I actually posted to you in January! :)

So this month you are quite the chatter box. You are repeating most things that are said to you. You will now mimmick a dog, cat, and a duck. You will also repeat what a cow says, but only after making your own sound! :) You have found Barney.....He is the best thing in your little tv world right now! You will spend the entire 20-25 minutes that Barney and friends are on just watching them sing and dance. Then every once in a while you try to do the dance or sing. You like the "I love you" song and every so often you will run up to me and hug me when they are singing it and then quickly give me a kiss and then be off to watch the end.

It is coming upon Easter next month and I am excited to help you find some eggs! I can't wait for it this year. Last year you were not quite one and so you were not really sure what was going on....I think Grandma and I "helped" you find the eggs and candy that was thrown on the lawn, but this year will be fun!

We will be leaving to go to Utah on Wednesday of this week, it will be the 24th of February. We are going to stay at Motel 6 in Rock Springs, WY just so that you don't have to ride the entire time of about 8-10 hours. It should be fun for you, me, and daddy to go on a trip together.

Well, my sweet, I will post more later. I love you baby girl!!!

Love,
Honey

Learning new things

So, here we are in January of 2010! I can't believe that you are going on two. But it shows! lol You currently think that it is hilarious to grab something of Grandma's and run like the wind, giggling all the while. It really is cute!

You are using all sorts of new words and NO is one of your favorites. You like to smack Daddy and Uncle Nick, especially those two. You will hand Daddy your sippy cup then when he takes a drink you will flail you little paddy at him until you connect with his face and tell him "no!" It is funny but at the same time you really pack a wallop and you can hear it resonate.

You have gotten excessively quick at and adept at getting up and down the stairs. It takes you only about a second or two to be on the next level. You love baths and really love to brush your teeth. You can show us almost all of your body parts, with the exception of chin, elbow, ankle, wrist, and knee. You are repeating the first four letters of the ABC's when prompted to. But then you will stop and repeat one of the letters that appeal to you that day.

Finally you keep your hair in the pigtails or the ponytail that I put in. You love your baby dolls and all of the stuffed animals that you have. You call them all "baby." You especially love these two dolls that your Uncle Nick got for you at Christmas from the dollar store. You have to have all FOUR of your babies in bed with you when you go to sleep. Plus Big Bear, which you call Puppy. And then any given stuffy that you deem necessary to take to bed with you has to be there for you to go to sleep.

I love you my sweet little angel.
Love,
Mommy aka Honey :)

Halloween

So, it has been a few days.....almost two weeks since Halloween. I wanted to let you know how it went this year, you are walking and have some knowledge of what is going on.

I took you to the mall with Grandma since it may have been cold and I feel that you are still too little to be out in the night in the cold. At the mall we walked from store to store and "Trick-or-Treated." There would be a store associate handing out candy to the children there.

Several stores had candy. We would walk up to the associate and they would give you a piece of candy. You had on your Ice Princess outfit that Mommy had sewn for you and your pumpkin to collect the candy in. As the person handing out the candy would try to put the candy in your "bag" you would lean down to see what they were doing with your pumpkin and in turn the pumpkin, which was hanging by your side at arms length, would swing back away from the front of you and then the candy handler would have to lean wwwaaaayyyyyy down to get the piece of candy into the pumpkin. It was quite cute. You would look at them and study them with a blank look on your face as if you weren't sure what was going on.

We walked the entire mall and you were tired at the end. You were holding my hand and grandma's too. But you kept lifting your feet and pulling on us both, so we let go of your hands and you sat on the floor in the middle of the mall then lay down on your tummy!!! It was funny, but mommy picked you up and we went home.

When we got home all of the kids in the neighborhood were out in full swing, going from home to home Trick-or-Treating. We would take you to the door and have you help us hand out the candy. You finally caught on and when the doorbell would ring you would RUN to the door and then grab a handful of candy and put it in the children's bags. All the while looking at the faces of the children to examine and study the costumes they had on. You had a better time handing out the candy than you did collecting your candy!

This picture is of you trying to get "Ma" to come downstairs with you so you can continue to hand out candy.

All in all it was a fun day for you and for Mommy too!

Well, Honey, I love you and I will write more later.

Love,
Mommy!!
